Goulin workshop students practising in the park

Gou-lin Chi Kung is made up of a series of movements, performed with walking

Walking Chi Kung (known in China as Gou-Lin Qi Gong) will produce a large amount of vital chi inside the practitioner's body after a long period of practice. It can help regulate the excesses and deficiencies of human organs and stimulate the circulation of the internal breathing current.

In China this Chi Kung is used clinically in the prevention and treatment of cancer, tumors, high and low blood pressure and is effective in reducing stress. It is also fun to do!

Goulin workshop students practising in the park

Gou-lin Chi Kung is as simple as a walk in the park!

Day Workshops: Weather permitting, this workshop usually finishes with a walk outside to practice the skills learned. Don't forget to bring a bottle of water to drink!

Students find the workshop interesting and fun. Learning the applications of the Tai Chi movements adds a lot of meaning and history to the exercise we mainly practice today for health.

By understanding a little about the martial aspect of Tai Chi one often finds learning Tai Chi much easier and more relaxing. For current & previous Institute students only.
